Bunn put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. Everything went their way against Warren County as they made off with a 57-27 victory. That result was just more of the same for Bunn, who also won the last time these teams played.
Bunn's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 35 first-half points. Warren County countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 35-7 going into the half. Bunn put the contest away in the third quarter with 13 points from the offense and eight points allowed from the defense.
Senior Quentin Perry, who rushed for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Bunn's success. Junior Cody Collier was in the mix, too, providing Bunn with 3 touchdowns. The win bumped their record up to 3-2. The loss dropped Warren County's record to 2-4.
Next week Bunn take on Vance County at 7:00 PM. Vance County took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Bunn's good fortune. As for Warren County, they will face off against South Granville.
