Thompson's (Alabaster, Ala.) dramatic win over Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, Ala.) on ESPN2. The Warriors were trailing 28-0 in the first half and came back to win 63-49. The 2019 Alabama commit finished the night with 264 yards passing and two touchdowns. The 4-star quarterback added another 152 yards on the ground with three more scores. The win clinched a share of the 7A region 3 title with Hoover (Ala.) and Thompson will be the No. 2 seed in the Alabama 7A state playoffs. The Warriors finish the regular season on the road in Florida against Crestview.
Expect to see Tagovailoa's name at the end of the year on the All-American team. He has been one of the top quarterbacks in high school football. He has thrown for 3,000-plus yards and 29 touchdowns to go with another five scores on the ground. He's now hoping to do something his older brother did —

Honorable mentionsGiles Jackson — Freedom (Oakley, Calif.)The 2019 Michigan commit balled out in Freedom's 55-30 win over Deer Valley (Antioch, Calif.). The 4-star all-purpose back showed how dangerous he is as a wide receiver hauling in seven grabs for 256 yards and three touchdowns. Jackson has been one of the best all-around players in California during his senior season. He has over 1,000 yards of total offense and 14 touchdowns to go with two interceptions.
Devyn Ford — North Stafford (Stafford, Va.)The 2019 Penn State commit has been playing banged up during his senior season, but it hasn't stopped him from putting up big-time numbers. North Stafford improved to 7-1 with a 42-6 win over Riverbend (Fredericksburg, Va.). Ford scored four touchdowns three different ways. He rushed for 90 yards and two scores, caught a 27-yard touchdown and returned an interception 23 yards to the house.
Dillon Gabriel — Mililani (Hawaii)Earlier this season Gabriel broke Tua Tagovailoa's state record for career passing yards and continues to add to that total. The 2019 Army commit threw for 355 yards and four touchdowns in their 47-7 win over Farrington (Honolulu). The 3-star quarterback has thrown for 3,000-plus yards and 34 touchdowns in 2018.
Noa Pola-Gates — Williams Field (Gilbert, Ariz.)The 4-star safety showed why he's one of the most versatile players in the country in the Black Hawks' 51-14 win over Higley (Gilbert, Ariz.). He was a factor everywhere, making plays at running back, scoring on a 65-yard touchdown reception and snagging an interception in their 37-point win.
