After two weeks on the road, Wasatch is heading back home. On Thursday they take on Provo at 7:00 PM. Wasatch have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Provo are surely hoping to exploit.
The struggle was real when Wasatch and Maple Mountain clashed last Friday, but Wasatch ultimately edged out the opposition 13-10. Among those leading the charge for Wasatch was senior Brock Cloward, who picked up 79 yards on the ground and accumulated 128 passing yards. Cloward has been a consistent playmaker for Wasatch as this was the 8th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing seven points in their last match, Provo made sure to put some points up on the board against Timpanogos. Provo put the hurt on Timpanogos with a sharp 43-21 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Provo as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Their wins bumped Provo to 2-5 and Wasatch to 6-2. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
