After two weeks on the road, Le Grand is heading back home. On Friday they take on Gustine at 7:15 PM. Le Grand are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Le Grand have had to suffer through a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Delhi last Friday as they made off with a 39-6 win. No one put up better numbers for Le Grand than senior Tony Garcia, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns. This marked the 5th contest in which Garcia has rushed for over 100 yards.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-49, which was the final score in Gustine's tilt against Ripon Christian. Gustine were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.
Le Grand suffered a grim 13-35 defeat to Gustine the last time the two teams met. Maybe Le Grand will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back on MaxPreps for all the details.
