Video: 360 hurdle over defenderTrey Edwards gets creative and athletic with incredible move.In the Madden video game there is a button for "hurdle" and a button for "spin move." But what happens if you press both buttons at the same time?
It would probably look something like the move
Trey Edwards busted out last Friday in a game against
Dayton (Texas).
Edwards, a 6-foot junior receiver for
Crosby (Texas), saw a defender headed towards him and he improvised. The result was something more suited for "So You Think You Can Dance?" than a high school football game.
Edwards jumped to clear the Dayton defender, but his momentum carried him into a 360 spin in midair. He landed it smoothly without breaking stride and continued for an 18-yard gain.
Maybe in next year's version of Madden there will be a button to "Trey" a defender. Has a nice ring to it.
