The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. This Friday Midway takes on Cloudland in the first playoff game of the year. Cloudland will be looking to take advantage of a struggling Midway defense that has allowed an average of 33 points per game.
Midway suffered a grim 41 - 7 defeat to Oliver Springs last week.
Meanwhile, Cloudland kept its home record unblemished after another positive outing on its own turf. Two weeks ago it came up short against Johnson County, falling 30 - 16.
After their losses, Midway dropped to 5-5 and Cloudland dropped to 8-2. We'll find out on Friday which team manages to turn its luck around when they battle it out this week.
