This Saturday at 1:00 PM, Mission (6-3) faces Lincoln (7-2). Lincoln will need to watch out since Mission has posted big point totals in its previous five matchups.
Mission has netted another blowout to add to its collection (now totaling four) after its most recent game. It dominated last week, steamrollering Balboa 36 - 0. Mission especially relied on senior Jamal Dixon, who found the end zone on two runs and one reception, and junior McKinley Oliver, who threw for 170 yards and one touchdown.
Meanwhile, Lincoln kept its home record unblemished after another positive outing on its own turf. It had a great defensive game last week, holding Burton to zero points to set up the 20 - 0 win. One of the main ringleaders for Lincoln was junior Desean Crawford, who rushed for 126 yards and one touchdown.
The last time they met, Lincoln won 22 - 12. This defeat knocked Mission out of the playoffs, so expect it to come at Lincoln with a vengeful fire.
