Spring Lake (Mich.) took the lead for good when they ran for a touchdown with 3:00 remaining in the fourth quarter and held on to beat
Belding (Mich.) 20-19 on Saturday.
After nabbing the lead on a rushing touchdown, the Redskins went into halftime with a 14-13 lead. The Lakers took the lead for good with a touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring six points in the third, Spring Lake still trailed by five points going into the fourth quarter. But zero points in the fourth helped SL pull out the victory.
The loss comes after Belding defeated Wyoming 26-25 last week. The loss snapped Belding's two-game winning streak.
