Rashan Gary is one of the top defensive line prospect in years.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pound defensive tackle is a physical specimen with great quickness, speed (4.74 seconds in the 40-yard dash) and a constant motor.
Gary's recruitment has been watched closely by all college football fans. His favorite heading into National Signing Day is Michigan, followed by Alabama and Auburn.
Barton Simmons, a recruiting expert for 247Sports, said at last summer's The Opening, an annual showcase of 166 of the top recruits in the country: "Every year at The Opening, there is one prospect that you need to make sure you watch on every rep or else you might miss something spectacular. This year that guy is Rashan Gary. Every time Gary takes a snap, whether it's during the run period or the pass-rush period, there's a different speed and a different intensity level on display."
Looking at his top five plays, there appears to be only one speed Gary works under: full speed ahead.
