Hyde (Bath, Maine) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat
Portsmouth Abbey (Portsmouth, R.I.), 31-8, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, the Phoenix led 18-0 at the half.
Hyde grew its lead to 31 points entering the fourth quarter. HHS scored two times in the third, including once on a passing touchdown.
Portsmouth Abbey's lone touchdown came on a 25-yard run in the fourth quarter.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Bath school, which lost to Dexter last week, 38-28. The victory ended Hyde's three-game losing streak. The loss was the third in a row for the Ravens.
