After a disappointing 7 points in the matchup before, Lindsay made sure to put some points up on the board against Whitewright on Thursday. Lindsay took their matchup against Whitewright by a conclusive 41-7 score. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Lindsay's flat performance the match before.
No one put up better numbers for Lindsay than junior Seth Foster, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 145 yards on the ground and accumulated 123 passing yards. Senior Kyle Ott was in the mix, too, providing Lindsay with 3 touchdowns.
The win bumped Lindsay's record up to 3-1. Whitewright are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Lindsay will stay at home next week against Celeste at 7:30 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Whitewright, they will face off against Chisum.
