Louisville (Miss.) snatched the lead for good when they recorded a safety in the second quarter, paving the way for victory over
Hazlehurst (Miss.) 30-28.
After taking the lead on a safety in the second quarter, the Wildcats were up 23-14 at the half.
Louisville saw its 9-point halftime lead fall to eight entering the fourth.
LHS led by as many as nine points before the Indians cut into the final margin.
The loss comes after Hazlehurst defeated Wilkinson County 36-22 last week.
