No one put up better numbers for Imperial than senior Santiago De la torre, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns. De la torre has been a consistent playmaker for Imperial as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-44, which was the final score in Palo Verde Valley's tilt against Central. Palo Verde Valley were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-31.
Imperial took their contest against Palo Verde Valley the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 52-18 score.
