IMPERIAL, Mo. - the Cougars scored 28 points in the first quarter to secure a big 55-0 victory over Windsor (Imperial, Mo.) on Saturday.
Affton scored on a touchdown run, a rushing touchdown, a passing touchdown and a touchdown run in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, AHS was up 34-0 at the half.
The St. Louis school grew its lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. The Cougars scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown.
The Cougars raced to 28 in the first quarter alone and never looked back.
AHS avenged last year's 14-7 loss to the Owls with the victory.
