AA Region 5 recap October 8, 2013
Bremen moved up to 223 from 268 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AA Region 5. The Blue Devils climbed the ranks as a result of topping Kendrick 31-22.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Bowdon beat Jordan 58-19. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Heard County takes on Manchester. The Braves are in third place, while the Blue Devils are in second place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Heard County takes on Manchester. Tim Barron's team has allowed 62 points this season, while Tanner Glisson's team has given up 57. The Braves allowed 7 points last week as they bested Chattahoochee County.
Heard County took down the Panthers 56-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
