Whitehouse were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything went their way against Mt. Pleasant on Friday as they made off with a 43-14 win. Followers of Whitehouse probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Whitehouse started the game off right with 36 first-half points. Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 36-0 heading into the break. Whitehouse were outperformed in the second half 7-14 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The victory bumped their record up to 3-1. The loss dropped Mt. Pleasant back to even at 2-2.
Whitehouse will take on Jacksonville at home at 7:30 PM next week. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Whitehouse and Jacksonville will really light up the scoreboard. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will face off against Pine Tree.
