Roxbury will challenge Randolph on the road on Friday. Both teams are strolling into their game after big wins in their previous games.
Everything went Roxbury's way against Morristown last Saturday as they made off with a 35-12 victory. Senior Evan Vazquez, who rushed for 145 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Roxbury's success. In fact, with ten tackles Vazquez was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Randolph put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of Mount Olive and carried off a 24-3 win. Randolph were heavily favored coming into this matchup, and the results showcase why.
Their wins bumped Roxbury to 2-2 and Randolph to 5-0. With both Roxbury and Randolph swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
