Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) grabbed a lead in the first quarter and rode that momentum to a 35-14 win over
Redlands (Calif.).
The Grizzlies put up seven points in the opening frame. Los Osos scored on a touchdown catch by
Durron Burton.
After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by Burton in the first quarter, LO was up 21-6 at the half.
The Rancho Cucamonga school expanded its lead to 29 points entering the fourth quarter. The Grizzlies scored two times in the third, including once on a
Jason Crain touchdown pass to
Caleb Repp.
Los Osos also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 21-15.
The loss was the third in a row for the Terriers.
Los Osos (2-1) will play a non-conference game against Norco next week, while Redlands (0-3) will take on Palm Desert also in a non-conference game.
