Where NFL Pro Bowl players went to high school

The buildup to the Super Bowl will continue through this weekend, as the big game is not until Feb. 5.

To pass the time, we have the Pro Bowl this weekend, the NFL's all-star contest. Game time is 4 p.m. Pacific (7 p.m. EST) on Sunday.

MaxPreps reveals which high schools will be represented in the annual AFC vs. NFC battle. Roster changes are not uncommon, but this is the most recent list as of Friday night. Also, players from the New England Patriots and New York Giants will not participate, plus there are some players who are on the rosters but will not play due to injury and personal reasons.

Here are some more facts about the high schools represented:

- California is the king, with 19 representatives. Florida comes next with 15, then Texas (9), Pennsylvania (6), Georgia (5), Ohio (5), Michigan (5), Louisiana (5), South Carolina (5), North Carolina (4), Alabama (3), New York (3), Oklahoma (3), Virginia (3), Arizona (2), New Jersey (2), New Mexico (2) and Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, Minnesota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin and American Samoa with 1 each.

- Servite High (Anaheim, Calif.) has two players on Pro Bowl rosters.

- One player is from American Samoa.
