The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lawson, who took down 30th ranked Lathrop, 28-14.
Adding to the longest winning streak in KCI this week, East Buchanan beat Mid-Buchanan 46-18. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Bulldogs.
Penney's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Drew Finch has thrown for 403 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Kellen Overstreet has 12 catches for 242 yards.
Overstreet of the Penney is only 80 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 106 carries Overstreet has put up 920 yards this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when East Buchanan takes on the Cardinals. Kevin Bryan's team is in first place, while Lawson is in third place.
Todd Dunn's team scaled the state rankings by moving to 59 from 96 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Cardinals climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Mules 28-14.
