Round Rock Westwood (Austin, Texas) on Saturday. The difference for the Cavaliers was it threw a touchdown.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown, the Warriors went into halftime with a 17-16 lead. The Cavaliers took the lead for good with a passing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring six points in the third, Lake Travis still trailed by 2 points going into the fourth quarter. But six points in the fourth helped LT pull out the victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Round Rock Westwood, which notched a 24-7 victory over Bowie in its previous outing. With the win the Cavaliers extended their winning streak to three games. The loss snapped Round Rock Westwood's 2-game winning streak.
In a non-conference game next week Round Rock Westwood (2-1) takes on Cedar Park, and Lake Travis (3-0) will go up against A&M Consolidated also in a non-conference game.
