Fans got a thrill when Bailey Adams and Drew Hamlow connected against Triangle Lake. The longest such play in 1A Special District 5 (8 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 81 yards.
Yoncalla's Geoff Payne rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Mapleton last week. Payne's team defeated the Sailors as he sprinted for 84 yards on the play and finished with 440 in all.
Payne was a force in the backfield as Yoncalla defeated Mapleton.

Payne was a passing and rushing force as Matt Bragg's team topped Jeff Greene's team. Payne's favorite target this week was Zack Van Loon, who caught 2 passes for 15 yards.
