One week remains in the regular season for most sections, with playoffs set to begin throughout the state starting on Nov. 15.
There was little change in this week's California Bowl Game Rankings, except in the South Division II where Hart (Newhall) lost to Valencia and dropped two spots to No. 4. Meanwhile in South Division III, Nordhoff jumped from No. 4 to No. 2 after a win over Bishop Diego.
See notes for explanation of which teams are expected to compete in the NorCal and SoCal Regionals, which are scheduled to take place Dec. 13-14 at sites to be determined.
Based on the MaxPreps Freeman Computer Rankings, these bowl rankings
will continue each week until all section playoffs have ended.

1. (last week 1)
St. John Bosco (Bellflower), 9-0, 76.9
2. (2)
Mission Viejo, 9-0, 69.5
3. (5)
Oceanside, 7-2, 61.1
4. (3)
Mater Dei (Santa Ana), 7-2, 60.9
5. (4)
Alemany (Mission Hills), 7-2, 60.7
6. (6)
Oaks Christian (Westlake Village), 8-1, 60.6
7. (7)
Vista Murrieta (Murrieta), 8-1, 60.5
8. (9)
Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks), 7-3, 58.9
8. (NR)
Orange Lutheran (Orange), 7-2, 58.9
10. (10)
Edison (Fresno), 9-0, 57.6
Notes: If St. John Bosco wins the Pac-5 Division, look for it to get a spot in the Open Division. The other Open Division regional team could come from Division II. If so, look for Oceanside from the Open Division in San Diego to battle the Inland Division champion, most likely Vista Murrieta or Centennial.
North Division IGranite Bay enters this week's North Division I rankings at No. 10.

1. (1)
De La Salle (Concord), 9-0, 67.2
2. (2)
Folsom, 9-0, 66.1
3. (6)
Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills), 8-1, 53.0
4. (3)
Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove), 8-1, 50.7
5. (5)
Del Oro (Loomis), 7-2, 48.9
6. (4)
Serra (San Mateo), 6-2, 46.4
7. (7)
Rocklin, 7-2, 45.7
8. (8)
Archbishop Mitty (San Jose), 8-0, 44.0
9. (10)
Jesuit (Carmichael), 7-2, 43.7
10. (NR)
Granite Bay, 6-3, 43.5
Notes: De La Salle hasn't lost to a NorCal team since the early 1990s, so we'll pencil them into one of the Open Division regional spots. Folsom will have a tough road to the Division I Sac-Joaquin Section championship, but a win there puts the Bulldogs into the other Open regional berth. Most likely Division I regional opponents would be the Open Division champion in the Central Coast Section, which could be undefeated Archbishop Mitty. The Division II champion in the Sac-Joaquin Section, we're guessing Del Oro, is the likely other Division I regional team.
South Division IIAt 7-2, St. Augustine makes an appearance in this week's South Division II rankings at No. 10.

1. (1)
Serra (Gardena), 9-0, 73.3
2. (3)
Chaminade (West Hills), 7-2, 61.8
3. (5)
St. Francis (La Canada), 8-1, 50.7
4. (2)
Hart (Newhall), 8-1, 48.3
4. (4)
La Habra, 8-1, 48.3
6. (7)
Valencia, 7-2, 48.1
7. (6)
Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates), 7-2, 47.2
8. (8)
Canyon (Canyon Country), 7-2, 46.8
9. (NR)
Edison (Huntington Beach), 6-3, 45.0
10. (9)
Los Alamitos, 8-1, 44.2
10. (NR)
St. Augustine (San Diego), 7-2, 44.2
Notes: Don't be surprised if Serra gets the other Open Division regional berth opposite the Pac-5 champion. If that happens, look for the Northern Division champion, possibly Hart or Valencia, against the Southwest champ, possibly La Habra.
North Division IIInderkum continues its run as the No. 2 team in North Division II.

1. (1)
Enterprise (Redding), 9-0, 46.6
2. (2)
Inderkum (Sacramento), 7-2, 37.9
3. (3)
Casa Grande (Petaluma), 9-0, 37.7
4. (4)
Rio Linda, 8-1, 35.0
5. (5)
American Canyon, 8-1, 34.2
6. (NR)
Wilcox (Santa Clara), 7-1, 31.9
7. (6)
Casa Roble (Orangevale), 6-2, 31.5
8. (8)
Miramonte (Orinda), 7-2, 31.0
9. (10)
Manteca, 8-1, 30.8
10. (9)
Milpitas, 7-1, 29.5
Notes: Enterprise has been having an historic season in the Northern Section and could become the first Northern Section Division II team to get a berth in the bowl playoffs. It would be hard to deny an undefeated Casa Grande for the other regional spot if it finishes unscathed.

1. (1)
Corona del Mar (Newport Beach), 9-0, 44.7
2. (4)
Nordhoff (Ojai), 8-1, 37.2
3. (2)
Mission Oak (Tulare), 9-0, 36.0
4. (3)
Oak Park, 8-1, 34.6
5. (5)
Monrovia, 8-1, 29.4
6. (6)
Salesian (Los Angeles), 6-2, 23.7
7. (7)
Garden Grove, 9-0, 21.5
8. (9)
Irvine, 7-2, 20.4
9. (8)
Carpinteria, 7-2, 20.1
10. (10)
Arroyo (El Monte), 8-1, 18.1
Notes: The Central Section's best chance of getting a regional berth is Mission Oak, which needs to win the Division 4 championship to qualify. Corona del Mar could be the other team if it wins the Southern Division, although Oak Park or Nordhoff from the Northwest or Monrovia from the Mid-Valley would be worthy candidates as well.

1. (1)
Campolindo (Moraga), 9-0, 41.4
2. (2)
Marin Catholic (Kentfield), 9-0, 40.3
3. (3)
West Valley (Cottonwood), 8-1, 37.1
4. (4)
El Cerrito, 7-2, 34.3
5. (7)
Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton), 8-0, 29.4
6. (5)
Hilmar, 9-0, 28.8
7. (6)
Analy (Sebastopol), 9-1, 28.3
8. (8)
Ripon, 9-1, 26.3
9. (NR)
San Marin (Novato), 8-1, 26.1
10. (9)
Sutter, 7-2, 25.5
10. (NR)
Central Valley (Shasta Lake), 6-3, 25.5
Notes: The North Coast Section Division III is going to be a hard-fought division between Campolindo, Marin Catholic and El Cerrito. The winner there will secure one of the berths. Hilmar will have to get past Central Catholic and Ripon to gain a berth and that won't be easy. There's also the chance that Central Catholic is the representative since it is not required to drop down to Division IV for the regionals. The wild card here could be Sacred Heart Prep, which would need to win the Central Coast Section Division III playoffs. Don't count out West Valley, whose only loss so far is to Enterprise.
South Division IVChristian moved up one spot to No. 2 in the South Division IV rankings.

1. (1)
Bishop Diego (Santa Barbara), 7-2, 33.4
2. (3)
Christian (El Cajon), 8-1, 27.5
3. (2)
Parker (San Diego), 9-0, 26.9
4. (4)
Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield), 7-2, 26.3
5. (5)
Santa Fe Christian (Solana Beach), 6-3, 22.7
6. (6)
Central Valley Christian (Visalia), 6-3, 19.7
7. (8)
Mission Prep (San Luis Obispo), 8-1, 18.5
8. (9)
Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia), 8-1, 16.4
9. (7)
St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano), 8-1, 13.2
10. (10)
Kern Valley (Lake Isabella), 8-1, 7.2
Notes: There are no clear-cut championship winners in this division. Bishop Diego is ranked No. 1, but it has the difficult task of winning the Northwest Division. It has already lost to two teams in the Northwest Division in Oak Park and Nordhoff. Meanwhile, Christian and Parker will face large school teams in San Diego Section Division III (both schools qualify for the Division IV regionals based on enrollment), so there's no guarantee either will win the section title. Mission Prep will need to get past Salesian in order to win the Northeast and Bakersfield Christian and Central Valley Christian would both need to beat Mission Oak to qualify. St. Margaret's might be a good bet out of the East Valley Division.

1. (1)
Central Catholic (Modesto), 8-1, 30.7
2. (2)
McClymonds (Oakland), 6-2, 18.5
3. (3)
Middletown, 8-1, 17.6
4. (4)
Modesto Christian, 5-4, 13.1
5. (5)
Capital Christian (Sacramento), 8-1, 11.4
6. (6)
Valley Christian (Dublin), 5-3, 10.2
7. (7)
Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento), 7-2, 8.7
8. (8)
Le Grand, 9-0, 9.1
9. (10)
Ripon Christian, 8-1, 5.7
10. (NR)
Maxwell, 7-2, 4.7
Notes: Assuming Central Catholic wins the Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV and elects to go to Division IV for the regionals, the Raiders will be one of the teams. McClymonds would be the other favorite out of the Oakland Section. Should Central Catholic not qualify, look for the North Coast Section Division V champion to earn a bid.
