On Friday Hapeville Charter take on Allatoona at 7:30 PM. Hapeville Charter have bulldozed their previous six opponents, so Allatoona might have their hands full.
Last Friday, Hapeville Charter put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on South Atlanta to the tune of 37-0. Hapeville Charter's success was spearheaded by the efforts of junior Jeremy Stephens, who picked up 61 yards on the ground and accumulated 136 passing yards, and junior Marcus Carroll, who rushed for 105 yards and 1 touchdown. If you haven't heard Carroll's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past six games.
Meanwhile, Allatoona might be getting used to good results now that the team have four wins in a row. They strolled past Harrison with points to spare, taking the game 23-7.
Their wins bumped Hapeville Charter to 6-0 and Allatoona to 4-2. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
