Maty Mauk saw to it that his team would rebound in a big way from last week’s first football loss as he sparked a dominating 70-21 victory over Elida (Ohio) on Friday night.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder completed 27 of 39 passes for 490 yards and seven touchdowns to help the Wildcats (4-1) forget their 22-20 loss to Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, Ohio). He also ran eight times for 76 yards and one touchdown. He sat out the final 9:38.

Max Morrison snared 12 passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns, in addition to scoring on an 88-yard kickoff return.
