A flood of new teams enters the Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.
The influx of new teams follows a wild weekend in which six ranked squads suffered playoff losses. Two teams, Glades Central and Pleasant Grove, were ranked earlier in the season, while Maryville, Olive Branch, Page and Steele are making their season debuts.
Pleasant Grove gets the nod as Northern California's top team over De La Salle, which suffered a 30-6 loss in September to a St. Thomas Aquinas squad that has since dropped two games.
The nation's Top 3 teams all won comfortably, as Don Bosco Prep, Trinity, and Gaffney all head into the state finals with unblemished records.
