Bloomingdale will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Chamberlain at 7:30 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Bloomingdale had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge last Saturday, breezing past Newsome 42-0. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.
Meanwhile, Chamberlain took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Gaither last week as they made off with a 21-0 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Chamberlain had established a 21-0 advantage.
Their wins bumped Chamberlain to 1-0 and Bloomingdale to 1-0. With both Bloomingdale and Chamberlain swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
