Catholic (Baton Rouge, La.) kept up a steady attack all game long to upset
Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, La.), 28-6, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, the Bears were up 21-0 at the half.
Catholic expanded its lead to 22 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run.
Parkview Baptist's lone touchdown came on a 50-yard run in the third quarter.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Eagles took, 47-20.
The loss comes after Parkview Baptist defeated Episcopal 21-0 last week.
In a non-conference game next week Catholic (1-0) takes on Mandeville, and Parkview Baptist (1-1) will go up against Broadmoor also in a non-conference game.
