The Pilots defeated Impact Academy (Las Vegas) 79-78 and 102-67. Senior guard
Nigel Williams-Goss had 21 points, nine assists and seven rebounds in the first game, while senior
Stanford Robinson paced the second victory with 21 points.
First-year head coach Todd Simon told MaxPreps that his team had a 16-point lead in the first game and then "we kind of messed around."
Normally, the Pilots also would play in the National High School Invitational in early April, but Simon said Saturday that he probably will not make a final decision until next week after talking to players and school administrators.
"The timing is so bad," he said of the month-long wait to play another game. "We have spring break and there are all-star games (for individuals). We've already beaten one-half of the field."
The Pilots are ranked No. 1 in the MaxPreps Academy Top 10 and hold the same status in several other national rankings.
