The biggest week of the high school basketball season was kicked off in style Monday at the Pepsi Center.
Before the season concludes this weekend with the state championships across five classifications, several of the state’s top players convened for the announcement of the rosters for The Show high school all-star games.
Of the 41 boys and girls players selected to participate in The Show, 17 still will be in action this week, competing for a state title. Players and coaches were selected by a media panel, which included MaxPreps. At least one player was selected from each of the five classifications, and players were chosen regardless of their year in school.
The Show, sponsored by the Denver Nuggets and the Gold Crown Foundation, is in its 10th year and will be played April 3 before the Nuggets and the L.A. Clippers game. The girls game is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., with the boys set for 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through the Nuggets ticket office.
