Crittenden County and Campbellsville face off this Friday at 7:00 PM to determine whose season will come to a close. Crittenden County is coming into the game hot, having won six in a row.
Crittenden County can now show off eight landslide victories after its most recent game. It breezed past Bethlehem last week with a final score of 41 - 20. 41 seems to be a good number for Crittenden County as the team scooped up a win with the same point total the game before.
As for Campbellsville, it took its game against Russellville last week by a confident 50 - 26 score. Senior Devonte Cubit didn't have many carries in the previous game, but he had more touches this time and made them count as he ran for 234 yards and punched in four touchdowns. Cubit should be a familiar name as he has been a major contributor for Campbellsville in the past seven games. Sophomore Malachi Corley was in the mix too, providing Campbellsville with two touchdowns.
Their wins bumped Crittenden County to 9-5 and Campbellsville to 6-6. While both teams are coming off of wins, only one will triumph this week. We'll find out soon enough who that will be.
