The biggest upset of the week belonged to Ludlow, who took down 272nd ranked Belchertown, 46-6.
Adding to the longest winning streak in Intercounty this week, Easthampton beat Greenfield 44-30. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Turners Falls's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Malcolm Smith threw for 71 and 2 touchdowns and Brody Markol had 36 yards receiving. On the ground Alex Carlisle chipped in 111 yards. Carlisle helped Turners Falls' passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.
Carlisle was a passing and rushing force as the Indians bested Mahar Regional. Carlisle's key target this week was Markol, who caught 4 passes for 36 yards.
Carlisle was the best running back in the league this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 111 yards as Turners Falls bested the Senators. Jalen Sanders also contributed to the rushing game with 44 yards on the ground.
Turners Falls' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Smith has thrown for 825 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Sanders has 26 catches for 388 yards.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when Christopher Lapointe's team and Cathedral face off next week.
At the moment, the Indians are in first, while the Panthers are in fourth.
The league will see a high scoring game when Turners Falls and Cathedral face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Indians comes in having scored 176 this season, while Mike Robidoux's team has scored 210. Turners Falls scored 19 points last week as it topped Mahar Regional.
Athol was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from ninth to seventh in Intercounty. The Red Raiders beat Frontier Regional 32-20 earlier in the week.
