Towles Patrick has made a commitment to the University of Kentucky, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal. He also had offers from Louisville, Illinois, Cincinnati and Vanderbilt.
The 6-foot-5, 230-pound junior, who is the grandson of baseball Hall of Fame pitcher and former U.S. Senator Jim Bunning, passed for 2,471 yards and 21 touchdowns last fall.
Towles paced Highlands to the Class 5A state title, running for five touchdowns in the first half of a blowout victory over Christian County (Hopkinsville, Ky.).
