Aloha won the last time they faced David Douglas, and things went their way on Friday, too. Aloha blew past David Douglas 49-24. Aloha were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Aloha's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 27 points in the first half. David Douglas came up with 6 to make it 27-6 heading into the break. The Aloha defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup. The match pushed David Douglas down to 1-2 and pulled Aloha up to the reverse at 2-1.
Aloha will look to defend their home turf next week against Jesuit at 7:00 PM. Jesuit will need to watch out since Aloha have now posted big point totals in their last three contests. As for David Douglas, they will face off against Glencoe.
