Grant Schmidt (6-7, 290). Christion threw for 925 yards last season while Schmidt is one of four linemen returning to the starting lineup.
Kirby Hora (6-1, 210) is back to lead the defense at linebacker.

Last year's championship game against Harrisburg showed how dominating the Quarriers have been as they won the title game 47-0. Dell Rapids needs to replace Cole Langer, a three-time all-state player at running back.
Riley Schmidt could fill that role — he earned all-state honors as a special teams player last year during his sophomore season.
