Following upset losses by three teams in last week's rankings, the saints came marching in to this week's Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.
St. Ignatius and St. John Bosco cracked this week's Xcellent 25 in addition to another saint-inspired institution, Don Bosco Prep. The three new teams enter following the shocking losses of Camden County, St. Edward and St. Joseph's Prep, all of which were stunned over the weekend.
Camden County has a chance to reenter the rankings as the Class AAAAAA playoffs get underway, while the season is over for both St. Edward and St. Joseph's Prep
In Texas, Katy leapfrogs Desoto as the Texas' No. 1 team. While clearly potent on offense, DeSoto continues to flirt with upsets while Katy has been consistently dominant.
Colerain, which survived against Elder, jumps from No. 11 to No. 6, with a chance to rise even higher.
