captured the lead the fourth quarter and held on for a 37-20 victory over
ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, Colo.)
on Saturday.

captured the lead for good when Nick Stevens ran for a touchdown.
After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown, the Grizzlies went into halftime
with a 14-9 lead. The Broncos took the lead for good on Stevens's touchdown
run in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring seven points in the third, Vista Murrieta still trailed by -4
point going into the fourth quarter. But 21 points in the fourth helped VM
pull out the victory.
The Murrieta school's best player in the win was Stevens.
The senior quarterback
threw three touchdowns
and
ran for one touchdown.
Vista Murrieta (1-0) will play a non-conference game against South next week,
while ThunderRidge (0-1) will take on Ralston Valley in a non-conference game.
