Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, Minn.) offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson is the nation’s top class of 2010 senior, according to MaxPreps and CBS College Sports recruiting analyst Tom Lemming.

The MaxPreps Top 100 was unveiled Monday with the 6-foot-7, 325-pound Henderson joined in the top five by running backs Lache Seastrunk of Texas and Marcus Lattimore of South Carolina, along two more Texans – defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat of Plano West and wide receiver Darius White of Dunbar.
Henderson, a second team All-American by MaxPreps last fall, helped his Raiders to a 12-1 record on the gridiron and is one of Minnesota’s top three-sport athletes with basketball and track and field on his plate as well.
Seastrunk is an electrifying runner who has racked up more than 3,000 yards and nearly 40 touchdowns over the past two seasons at Temple High School.
Lattimore earned MaxPreps.com’s National Junior of the Year award after piling up 2,314 yards and 30 touchdowns for the Rebels of Byrnes.
Jeffcoat, another multi-sport standout, posted 94 tackles and seven sacks as a junior at Plano West.
White used his freaky combination of size and speed to average over 26 yards per reception last year fall at Fort Worth’s Dunbar High School.
Also of note, defending national champion St. Thomas Aquinas of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., isn’t going to have much of an issue reloading. Lemming lists four Raiders among the nation’s top 100 seniors; (49) Lamarcus Joyner, DB, (50) Giovanni Bernard, RB, (84) Brandon Linder, OL, (92) Cody Riggs, DB.
