The
MacArthur (Decatur, Ill.) junior varsity baseball player is out on the diamond playing with no arms. Born with TAR Syndrome, Dozier lacks radial bones meaning his hands are attached near his shoulders.
And that hasn't stopped him from competing one bit.

"I didn't think I was going to make the team," he told a local TV station. "It was one of my greatest moments. I'm going to take this as an opportunity to show people that someone like me can do something like."
When Dozier takes his spot at second base, he works to field and throw balls just like his teammates. He's treated like any other member of the JV squad. He hits, fields, shags balls ... and yes, when he's late he runs poles.
"He's a good kid, great smile, great attitude. He hustles harder than anyone else," coach Jesse Danbury. "I didn't know what he'd be able to do, so I left it on Myshaun. 'Myshaun, you do whatever you need to do, what you can do. It's going to be you that pushes yourself.' "
And Dozier loves baseball ... and being an inspiration to us all.
It makes me feel good," Dozier said. "I want to be seen as a positive figure."
