Video: 2017 USA Men's Junior National TeamSee the country's top prep basketball prospects go at it Saturday.Many of the country's 54 best high school players have descended upon Colorado Springs, Colo. for the ninth annual USA Basketball Men's Junior National Team October minicamp.
The first practice session was held on Saturday at the United States Olympic Training Center. It displayed 18 of America's top seniors along with 36 others from the classes of 2019, 2020 and 2021.
The talented bunch is full of star power, no more than the nation's No. 2 prospect,
Spartanburg Day (Spartanburg, S.C.) senior
Zion Williamson, who displayed some high-flying dunks that has made him such a social media sensation.
Bol Bol, a senior at
Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), showcased why he might be America's top center, rim-protector and finisher.
Five-star
Emmitt Williams, of
Oak Ridge (Orlando, Fla.), had some emphatic dunks on other recruits and dominated the interior. Duke commit and
Westtown (West Chester, Pa.) senior
Cameron Reddish also showed his complete skill set.
One of the highlights of Saturday came when
Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) standout
Keldon Johnson put down a big dunk over Reddish.
James Wiseman,
Jordan Brown,
Jalen Green,
Jahvon Quinerly,
Wendell Moore and
Isaiah Todd were among the other notable recruits who stood out.
