Jesse Hayes has verbally committed to Wisconsin, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Hayes, who is 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, is one of the nation's top linemen in the 2011 class. The son of Cincinnati Bengals defensive line coach Jay Hayes also considered schools that included Oregon, Nebraska, Cincinnati and Florida State.
Hayes is second in the Greater Catholic League with 9 ½ sacks this season. He also has one safety. Moeller (7-3) plays Centerville in a Division I playoff game at 7 p.m. Nov. 6.
