Braden Smith, DL, 6-6, 250, South (Olathe, Kan.)
Smith made a difference on varsity for Olathe South's defense, but can also line up on offense.

Tyler Luatua, DL, 6-3, 200, La Mirada (Calif.)
With one Luatua (Isaac) departing for Alabama, La Mirada will look toward another, Tyler, to be a key contributor in 2011.

Dashawn Hand, DL, 6-4, 220, Woodbridge (Va.)
Hand, a second team All-District selection with a huge frame is one to watch in 2011 and beyond.

Zack Singer, DL, 6-2, 280, Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.)
A middle-school phenom, Singer showed he was physically ready for the rigors of high school football this year, and should blossom into a star with the Gaels.

Kendrick Richardson, LB, 6-2, 225, Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, N.C.)
Richardson also excelled on offense, rushing for more than 1,000 yards at the quarterback position.

Melvin Keihn, LB, 6-2, 210, Gilman (Baltimore, Md.)
Keihn cracked the roster for Gilman and has the frame and speed to project as a big prospect.

Blake Roussel, LB, 6-0, 187, Lutcher (La.)
While receiver Jarvis Landry received most of the limelight for Lutcher, Roussel quietly stepped in at linebacker and earned All-District honors.

Marquese Dudley, LB, 5-11, 170, Cypress Bay (Weston, Fla.)
Dudley is powerful enough to play outside linebacker and is a terror in the secondary.

Jonathan Hilliman, LB, 6-0, 190, St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.)
Defensively, Hilliman has the tools to play linebacker or safety, but offensively, he's drawn early comparisons to teammate Savon Huggins.

Kapri Doucet, DB, 6-0, 170, Bruton (Williamsburg, Va.)
Doucet was a first team All-District pick at defensive back but also made contributions at running back.

Lorenzo Jones, DB, 5-8, 150, Hale County (Moundville, Ala.)
An All-State selection as an eighth grader, Hale is already a well-seasoned defensive back.

Jordan Thomas, DB, 5-11, 165, Klein Collins (Spring, Texas)
Thomas was one of the more impressive freshmen in Houston and the first ninth-grader to start for head coach Drew Svoboda.

Ronald Walker, DB, 6-0, 180, Callaway (Jackson, Miss.)
Also an accomplished receiver, Walker saw time in the secondary for Callaway, which finished 9-3 in the state's 5A class.

Jamoral Graham, ATH, 5-9, 160, Newton County (Decatur, Miss.)
Graham averaged 34.1 yards per punt. He ran 10.84 seconds in the 100 meters as an eighth-grader, so his speed was also put to use at running back and wide receiver.
