Everything went Savannah Christian's way against Toombs County on Friday as they made off with a 49-21 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.
The win got Savannah Christian back to even at 1-1. The loss dropped Toombs County's record to 2-0.
Savannah Christian hope to keep the momentum going despite some extra time before their next contest against Wheeler County at 7:30 PM in two weeks. Toombs County will look to defend their home turf next week against Claxton at 7:30 PM.
