Video: Cole Anthony highlightsNew York City point guard headed to Oak Hill Academy. With the club basketball season winding down for the most part last week, high school hoops transfer season is officially underway.
Things got off to a hot start with the news that
Cole Anthony of Archbishop Molloy (Queens, N.Y.) and
Kofi Cockburn of Christ the King (Middle Village, N.Y.) will be heading to
Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) for the 2018-19 season.
Anthony, a 6-foot-3 point guard, is the No. 3 overall prospect in the Class of 2020 according to
247Sports. He averaged over 23 points per game as a junior at Molloy and was a star on Nike's EYBL circuit over the summer.
Duke, Kansas, Louisville and Oregon are among the leaders to land Anthony, who said his goodbyes to the Molloy community Sunday.
At 6-11 and 250 pounds, Cockburn may be the most physically imposing rising senior in the country. He is regarded as a Top 50 prospect by 247Sports with Connecticut, Florida State, Illinois and Kansas among those in pursuit.
Anthony and Cockburn will be joined at Oak Hill by fellow transfers and top prospects
Chandler Lawson and
Lynn Greer III.

The addition of Cole Anthony should make Oak Hill Academy a national championship contender in 2018-19.
