The biggest upset of the week belonged to East Valley, who took down 37th ranked East Valley, 34-28.
Cheney moved up to 131 from 176 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A Great Northern. The Blackhawks climbed the ranks as a result of a 34-28 win over the Knights.
Jake Staniszewski was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 123 yards as Pullman defeated Clarkston. David Ungerer also contributed to the rushing game with 109 yards on the ground.
Austin Hansen put up the best numbers through the air as the Bantams lost to the Greyhounds. He finished with 11 completions for 229 yards and four touchdowns. Hansen's favorite target this week was Robby Devleming, who caught three passes for 90 yards.
Staniszewski was the best wideout in the league this week as Pullman bested Clarkston. Staniszewski tallied four receptions for 97 yards. Scotty Burbank helped Pullman's passing attack out by catching five balls for 52 yards.
Justin Cillay provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Dan Lucier's team topped Dave Curtis' team. He completed 15 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 81 yards.
Trevor Sperry made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bantams fell to the Greyhounds. The 6-foot-4 sophomore grabbed one interception.
Clarkston's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bantams feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hansen has thrown for 1170 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Sperry has 26 catches for 354 yards. Hansen also leads the league in rushing with 269 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when East Valley takes on West Valley. Adam Fisher's team is in third place, while the Eagles are in first place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Knights take on West Valley. East Valley has allowed 103 points this season, while Craig Whitney's team has given up 75.
The Eagles extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Deer Park, 41-13. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
