Who are the country's Top 25 high school girls basketball teams? We count them down here.The 43rd annual Ohio High School Athletic Association girls basketball state tournament was held last weekend at the Schottenstein Center on the Campus of The Ohio State University. Sixteen teams advanced to the state tourney in four divisions. Three of the four champions won at least their third state titles, while one school captured its first. Here is a look at some of the top teams, players, numbers and nuggets.

'18 OHSAA Girls Basketball State Tournament: By The Numbers0 – Number of private schools that won state titles in the first year of the OHSAA’s Competitive Balance initiative.
2 – Number of private schools that made the 16-team state tournament field in all divisions.

Versailles has played in the D-III state final the last five years. The Tigers were state runner-up in 2018, 2017 and 2014 and state champ in 2015. The program owns nine trips to state (also won a state title in 2008).

Annika Corcoran hit to set a D-II semifinal record in a win over Bellbrook.

Africentric Early College (Columbus) owns after claiming the D-III state championship. Nubians are one of four schools in history to reach six titles.

Pickerington Central owns after claiming the D-I state championship. Tigers are alone in first for most overall titles. Africentric, Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame and South Euclid Regina each have six.

Waterford had snapped in its D-IV state semifinal loss to
Minster. The Wildcats opened the season with a loss to eventual West Virginia Class AAA state champion
Parkersburg (W. Va.) and closed it with a loss to the D-IV Ohio state champ.

Janae Hoying and
Ivy Wolf combined for in the Wildcats D-IV state final win. Each had 15.

Rogers (Toledo) junior
Zia Cooke scored in a 51-37 D-II final win over Gilmour Academy. She added 14 rebounds.
37 – Years it had been since a girls basketball team from Toledo won a state title. Rogers ended the streak with D-II championship.

Naz Hillmon grabbed in two D-II state tournament games. She had 19 in each contest, which tied an all-divisions semifinal record and set a D-II final record.
41 – Points Pickerington Central junior Madison Greene scored in two D-I state tournament games. Had 25 in semifinal win over Mason and 16 in finals win over Solon. Also added nine rebounds, three steals and three assists.
43 – Girls enrollment for D-IV semifinalist
Ottoville. The Big Green had 15 girls on its roster/bench.
