Patrick Henry Academy's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 26 points in the first half. Calhoun Academy came up with 8 to put the score at 26-8. The offense for Patrick Henry Academy continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 16 points.
Senior Kennedy Fairey, who rushed for 115 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in the success. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse junior Kyle Jarrell, who racked up 14 tackles. This was the first game for both teams, giving Patrick Henry Academy a 1-0 record and starting Calhoun Academy off at 0-1.
