George Ranch was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in 4A Region III District 23. Earlier in the week, George Ranch triumphed over Kingwood Park 48-28.
Angleton scaled the state rankings by moving to 125 from 235 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Wildcats climbed the ranks as a result of beating Brazoswood 42-10.
