Randolph County put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 41-13 margin over Woodland. That's another feather in the cap for Randolph County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
The contest started off well for Randolph County, whose offense put up 34 first-half points. Meanwhile, Woodland couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 34-0 heading into the break. Although Randolph County wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war. The victory bumped their record up to 4-1. The defeat dropped Woodland's record to 2-4.
Randolph County will take on Weaver at home at 7:00 PM next week. Weaver also lit up the scoreboard in their last matchup, so this could be a high-scoring matchup. Woodland will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Cleveland in two weeks at 7:00 PM.
