If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Heritage Hills. On Friday they take on South Spencer at 7:00 PM. Heritage Hills are coming into the match hot, having won eight in a row.
Heritage Hills put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Forest Park as the squad secured a 46-0 win. No one put up better numbers for Heritage Hills than junior Cole Sigler, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 26 yards and 1 touchdown. If you haven't heard Sigler's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past eight games.
Meanwhile, after flying high against Forest Park two weeks ago, South Spencer came back down to earth. South Spencer found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-48 punch to the gut against Boonville. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a suprise as Boonville enjoys a considerable advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Heritage Hills took their contest against South Spencer the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 52-21 score. Will Heritage Hills repeat their success, or does South Spencer have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
